In the 860s, after the death of [[Abbasid Caliphate|Caliph]] [[Al-Mutawakkil]], the [[Hidden Ones of Alamut|Alamut Hidden Ones]] set up multiple bureaus to counter and eradicate the [[Order of the Ancients]]' influence across the city. By instruction, Tabid scouted the district and later set up the Abbasiyah bureau.<ref name = "BranchingOut"/> Along with him, [[Ahmad ibn Musa]] joined the bureau as its engineer but he later left for his workshop at the [[House of Wisdom]]. However, after a week, he was nowhere to be found and presumed missing. At the bureau, Tabid received his fellow Hidden One [[Basim Ibn Ishaq]] as they talked about Ahmad's disappearance as well as the House of Wisdom being corrupted.
