'''Asterios''' (died 403 BCE) was a [[Sparta]]n commander stationed at [[Munychia Fort]] alongside [[Kallias (Spartan commander)|Kallias]].

==Biography==
In 403 BCE, Asterios was responsible for the western section of the fort, while Kallias was left with the eastern section. On the night of the [[Battle of Munychia]], 
he had a conversation with one of his subordinates about [[Thrasybulus]]'s {{Wiki|Battle of Phyle|taking of Phyle}}, disagreeing with the claim that the army was ten thousand men strong, arguing that the originator of the claim was a coward and the army was at most a tenth of that.
