Doctor '''Zixuan Long''' (died 2016) is an archaeologist and researcher employed by [[Abstergo Industries]], with extensive expertise in the [[Piece of Eden|Pieces of Eden]]. In 2016, Dr. Long located a [[Staff of Eden]] that belong to the [[Isu]] [[Seth]], starting an obsession with the [[Egyptian mythology|mythological]] figure and leading him to believe he had been chosen to fulfill a prophecy to deal with [[Apep|Apophis]], the [[Snake|serpent]] god of darkness and disorder.<ref name="Massacre">''[[Assassin's Creed Roleplaying Game]] – [[Forging History]]'' – [[The Mansion Massacre]]</ref>

==Biography==
Further research done by Long revealed that the [[Staff of Seth|Staff]] was directly connected to other Pieces of Eden, a set of three [[Rings of Seth|rings]] bestowed upon Seth's champions. Discovering that two of the rings were already in [[Templars|Templar]] possession, in the private vault of high ranked Templar [[Aleksandr Omovich]], Long arranged for a meeting at the [[Omovich mansion]], under the pretext of showcasing the the recently discovered Staff and its connection to the two rings. Once there, Long was able to activate the [[Ring of Blood]] using his [[Zixuan Long's assistant|assistant]], who underwent an illusory [[Vampire|transformation]] and, under the control of the Staff, carried out a massacre in the mansion.<ref name="Massacre"/> Some short time later, Long gave the stolen [[Ring of Moon]] to a woman in an abandoned building near the villa, leading to her transformation into a seven feet tall [[werewolf]].<ref name="Wolf">''[[Assassin's Creed Roleplaying Game]] – [[Forging History]]'' – [[The Wolf Among Us]]</ref>

Dr. Long then travelled to the [[Valley of the Kings]] in [[Egypt]], seeking the vault underneath the valley where he believed Apophis was held. The Assassins were hot on his trail and confronted him in one of the chambers beneath the [[Tomb of Tutankhamun]]. Using the Staff, he made the Assassins believe they were in a crimson desert with ominous black storm clouds instead of the painted halls of the tomb complex. He then seemingly transformed to mirror the mythological depictions of Seth before summoning shadow warriors and a sandstorm to attack the Assassins while remaining safe behind an energy shield.
