==Biography==
In 1788, the [[Louisiana Brotherhood of Assassins|Louisiana Brotherhood]] attempted to investigate Nuñez's suspected Templar ties, though three of their subjects of interest had been killed before they could interrogate them.<ref name="Templar">''[[Assassin's Creed Roleplaying Game]] – [[Forging History]]'' – [[Howling at the Fire]] – Sequence Hooks: "Templar Investigations"</ref> As they investigated a series of grisly murders attributed to a [[Werewolf|Rougarou]], they noticed that most of the victims had connections to illicit trades and tenuous links to Nuñez himself, the Brotherhood decided to probe this lead further by infiltrating his residence near [[Saint Louis Cathedral]]. Their investigation did not take place, for as they arrived at their destination, they found the house [[Great Fire of New Orleans|engulfed in flames]], having already spread to the municipal building, barracks, and armory nearby. Vicente Nuñez tracked the werewolf and the Assassins to a {{Wiki|Hopewell tradition#Mound|Hopewell site's mound}} in the swamps southwest of the city, arriving there with a group of Templars to kill them and take the [[Ring of Moon|artifact]] responsible for the monster. Though managing to ambush his targets, Nuñez was killed during the confrontation and the Templars did not manage to take the ring.<ref name="Howling"/>
