One of the targets was a [[Templars|Templar]] associate named [[Arispe]], who traveled to Arroyos to rendezvous with a local [[Rum|rum]] [[Merchants|trader]] called Tom. After violently reacting to Tom's insubordination, Arispe tried fleeing the village, but was eventually assassinated by Edward.<ref name="Drink"/>
