The '''Thirty Tyrants''' was a group of pro-[[Sparta|Spartan]] obligarchy that was installed in [[Athens]] following the ''[[poli]]'' defeat during the [[Peloponnesian War]]. Led by [[Critias]], the obligarchy was elected as a tyrannical government, who oppressed the Athenians and killed a five percent of the city's population.<ref name="Wiki">{{WP|Thirty Tyrants}}</ref>
