'''The Bazaar''' was a grand marketplace in the [[Karkh]] district of [[Baghdad]], where most of the merchants from the [[Abbasid Caliphate]] and beyond such as [[China]] and [[Constantinople]] came to do business. Located at the heart of the [[Tabik]] sub-district, The Bazaar was particularly known for the [[Da'irat Al-mat]] (English: ''Grand Auction''), where exotic and rare goods were put up for auction. 

During the 9th century, the [[Order of the Ancients]] member [[Ning]], known as '''Al-Pairika''', used The Bazaar as her seat of influence, where she controlled the shipment of goods and items in and out of the city.
