On 31 October 876, in [[Gloucester|Glowcestre]], Tewdwr and Cynon was introduced to [[Eivor Varinsdottir]] of the [[Raven Clan]] by [[Gunnar]]. Upon their initial interaction, Tewdwr offended Eivor's presence, due to having too many Danes in the city. Tewdwr remarked that he had to pray to [[Saint Kenelm|Saint Kenhelm]] outside the city. Reluctant, Tewdwr was escorted by Eivor to his praying grounds at [[St. Kenhelm's Falls]]. Discussing the ways of how they differ on their prayers, Eivor wondered why Tewdwr dirtied his knees until she heard a sound. In disbelief, Tewdwr looked around unconvinced until they both saw a trio of [[wild boar]]s ready to attack. However, Tewdwr was saved by Eivor, who killed the boars. Tewdwr, relieved, thanked Eivor and promised to tell Cynon that she did her job as an escort.<ref name="FirstNightOfSamhain"/>

Night came and a drinking game ensued between Tewdwr and Eivor. Both Tewdwr and Eivor later joined Cynon and [[Gwilim]]. All four discussed how the festival was the last task for Cynon, who stated that he was to be sacrificed for years of good harvest. Tewdwr was declared the next ealdorman, but reluctant at Cynon's sendoff. Nevertheless, all four toasted and then Cynon had to leave to tend to other matters. Later, Tewdwr and Eivor talked as Tewdwr apologized to Eivor of his initial remarks and attitude. Eivor forgave him and they drank the night away. Throughout the night, Tewdwr and Eivor acted silly, with such acts as chasing [[chicken]]s and being chased by them in turn. At the end, both Tewdwr and Eivor fell unconscious near Tewdwr's house.<ref name="FirsatNightOfSamhain"/>

The next day, however, Tewdwr was missing, his guard stabbed to death, and Gwilim's pouch was found within his house. Unknown to most, Gwilim kidnapped Tewdwr and left Eivor as a patsy for Cynon to frame for Tewdwr's "death."<ref>''[[Assassin's Creed: Valhalla]]'' – [[Clues and Riddles]]</ref> At [[Thieves' Warren]], Tewdwr was going in and out consciousness as Gwilim presided over him. Tewdwr was soon found by Eivor, who confronted Gwilim. Tewdwr was to die by Cynon's orders, but he was kept alive for ransom and the good company. Tewdwr stood up in disbelief of Cynon's betrayal, but only to fall down due to his injuries. Tewdwr was quickly carried out of the [[bandit]] stronghold. An unconsciousness Tewdwr was brought to Modron, who promised to take care of him, as Eivor left to confront Cynon. However, Modron kidnapped Tewdwr as to sacrifice him in order to save her family and the shire's peace.<ref>''[[Assassin's Creed: Valhalla]]'' – [[A Love Betrayed]]</ref> Within [[Ochre Caves]] at [[Aelfwood]], Tewdwr was laid on a slab while Modron was in the midst of preparing to kill him in her ritual. However, Tewdwr was ultimately saved once Eivor came and stopped Modron in battle. Tewdwr woke up as Eivor told him of all that happened. Later, commencing the burning ceremony, Tewdwr promised to keep an alliance with Eivor and her Raven Clan. Tewdwr also promised to keep his word on being ealdorman to all his people.
