'''Supideo's shield''' was a small [[shield]] which once belonged to [[Supideo]], a [[Lokris|Lokrian]] man during the 5th century BCE, being a gift from his birth parents, [[Ailos]] and [[Kosta]], alongside an accompanying [[Family Sword|sword]].<ref name="Con">''[[Assassin's Creed: Odyssey]]'' – [[Confiscated]]</ref>

During the [[Peloponnesian War]], Supideo went to the [[Pythia (431 BCE)|Oracle]] of [[Sanctuary of Delphi|Delphi]], where he received a prophecy foretelling that his mother's blood would stain the earth and his father would scream to the gods in agony.<ref name="FV">''Assassin's Creed: Odyssey'' – [[Family Values (Lokris)|Family Values]]</ref> While he was away, the shield was stolen by Ailos and the [[Red Lake Bandits]], who took it to their hideout.<ref name="Con"/> Upon returning home, he locked himself up to divert fate and spare his parents, who believed he was overreacting. The [[Sparta]]n ''[[Mercenary|misthios]]'' [[Kassandra]] overheard Supideo arguing with his parents as she passed through the village and offered her assistance, to which Supideo asked that she recover the sword and shield.<ref name="FV" />

Kassandra went to the Red Lake to look for the bandit hideout and found the bandit leader Ailos. The two dueled until Kassandra killed Ailos and looted Supideo's shield from her corpse. Kassandra then returned to Supideo to hand him the shield, which she kept after the ordeal was over.<ref name="Con"/>
