'''Suma''' (died 1500s) was a [[Japan]]ese member of the [[Japanese Rite of the Templar Order|Japanese Templars]] and the older sister of [[Nowaki]] during the late Sengoku period.

==History==
By the 1560s, Suma was the sole caretaker of her young sister Nowaki as they lived closely together in [[Kamaguchi Village]]. She later came into contact with the Templars when they visited [[Awaji]]. At some point, Suma was later inducted into the Templar Order. While working as the Templars' hunter and enforcer, she also began teaching Nowaki her traps and techniques.<ref name="Origin of a Killer">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]] – [[Claws of Awaji]]'' – [[Origin of a Killer]]</ref>

One day, Suma was tasked for a mission which made her leave her sister behind. As a result, Nowaki became feral and isolated herself at their old [[Derelict House|home]]. She was soon found and adopted by [[Kimura Yukari]], a fellow Japanese Templar and daughter of Templar [[Kimura Kei]].
