The '''Treasure Fleet''' of 1715 was a convoy of [[Spain|Spainish]] [[Ships|warships]] that had departed from [[Havana]], [[Cuba]] - in the [[Caribbean]] - and was destined for Spain.

Seven days after their departure, the Fleet hit a storm which destroyed 11 of its 12 vessels; the one vessel to survive - the soon-to-be-christened ''[[Jackdaw]]'' - narrowly escaped thanks to the actions of the [[pirate|pirates]] named [[Edward Kenway]] and [[Adéwalé]], who had only just escaped from imprisonment on another ship in the fleet.
