The '''Serpent's Tree''' was a particularly tall tree at [[Jötunheimr]]. It earned its name through an event where the [[Æsir]], while returning to their [[Ásgarðr|realm]], came to rest beneath the tree, being followed by the three children of [[Loki]] and [[Aletheia|Angrboda]]: a [[Jörmungandr|wyrm]], a [[Fenrir|pup]] and a [[Hel|child half dead]].
