==History==
In 1997, paleontologist [[Tim D. White]] underwent an expedition to the village and unearthed the remains of ''{{Wiki|Australopithecus}}'' and ''{{Wiki|Ardipithecus}}'', thus proving a missing link between early and modern man. ==Behind the scenes==
Though not named in the ''[[Assassin's Creed II]]'' [[Glyphs|Glyph]] puzzles, Aramis was the place where Tim D. White conducted his expedition that proved humanity's missing link. The year of 1997 used in-game however is erroneous, as White's expeditions where undertaken in 1992 and 1994.
