In December 1430, [[Jeanne d'Arc]] was imprisoned in one of the fortress' towers. On 21 February 1431, the keep's chapel was used for a session of her trial, with Bishop [[Pierre Cauchon]] and [[Jean d'Estivet]] as the overseeing judges and [[Fleur]] and [[Gabriel Laxart]] in attendance.
