In 1862, the [[Assassins|Assassin]] [[Simeon Price]] was brought to the Red Lion to celebrate his release alongside former [[soldier]]s and later [[Dante Gabriel Rossetti]]. Talking about any news about his apprentice, [[Pierrette Arnaud]], Price was told by [[Fanny Eaton]] that a man named [[Oscar Kane]] recently was given a ride to [[Bath, Somerset|Bath]] by her husband.
