'''Perie''' was a village in [[Oxenefordscire]], northeast of the town of [[Buckingham]].

Once home to [[Anglo-Saxon]] residents, the village was ravaged by a trio of [[wolves]], killing its inhabitants and making it their feeding grounds. The wolves came to be known as [[The Corpse Feeders]] and word made rounds around the shire of its name and activities in the village.<ref name="ACV">''[[Assassin's Creed: Valhalla]]''</ref>

In the 870s, the [[Viking]] [[Eivor Varinsdottir]] visited the village and investigated the aftermath of the attacks, as well as reading notes written by the dead residents of their encounters. Eventually, Eivor encountered the wolves themselves and eliminated them one by one, liberating the village of its terror.<ref name="ACV" />

In the same period of time, Eivor also recovered numerous valuables and a [[nickel]] ingot left behind by its inhabitants.<ref name="ACV" />
