The Old Growth Forest originally housed the [[Iroquois]] and their longhouses, however, during the [[Seven Years' War]], the natives abandoned the area and the unkempt longhouses eventually collapsed as the river flooded in.

The former [[Assassin]] [[Michael Crawley]] started his new life in the Old Growth Forest, where he was tracked down by his old comrades and protected by the [[Templar]] [[Shay Cormac]].

In 1757, Shay Cormac met with his allies [[Jack Weeks]] and Colonel [[George Monro]] at the edge of the Old Growth Forest where they planned their attack and [[Kesegowaase]]'s assassination.
