==Biography==
As part of an attempt to overthrow the {{Wiki|Tsarist autocracy}}, Nikolai and fellow members planned the {{Wiki|Assassination of Alexander II of Russia|Alexander II}}. Sensing a possible assassination attempt in 1881, a cousin of Nikolai's alerted his radical activities to the [[British Brotherhood of Assassins|British Assassin]] [[Simeon Price]], who had recruited several young [[Assassins]] in [[Russia]] some years prior. Nikolai attempted to escape from the scene and was aided by Simeon, who pretended to drunk to hinder the police movement in the crowd.
