==History==
In 1582, the ''[[Ninja|kunoichi]]'' [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] traveled to the region in search of her "auntie" [[Matsu]], who had retired to the mountains in southern Iga and planned to live out her final days in peace. After reuniting with her at the [[Hinotani Shrine]], Naoe offered to help Matsu find a new home,<ref name="From the Ashes">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[From the Ashes]]</ref> and eventually secured a remote [[Matsu's Camp|cabin]] after eliminating a ''[[yamabushi]]'' [[The Valley Yamabushi|imposter]] who had made it his residence.
