'''Murjana''' was an [[Abbasid Caliphate|Abbasid]] woman who lived in [[Baghdad]] during the 9th century. She was the daughter of the famous [[merchant]] [[Ali Baba]] and was a friend of [[Beshi]], a member of the [[Zanj Rebellion|Zanj rebels]].<ref name="A Dance with Thieves">''[[Assassin's Creed: Mirage]]'' – A Dance with Thieves</ref>

When her father came in trouble with the Forty Thieves, Beshi recommended her to seek out the [[Hidden Ones]] who were trustworthy and able to help her situation. Murjana wrote a letter to the [[Harbiyah]] [[Assassin bureau|bureau]] where it was found by [[Basim Ibn Ishaq]]. In the letter, Murjana asked the Hidden One to meet her outside the south of the city gate.<ref name="A Dance with Thieves" />
