The '''Monks' District''' was the residences of [[Buddhism|Buddhist]] monks near the [[Koyasan Danjo Garan]] in [[Kii]], [[Japan]]. 

==History==
In 1582, the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] members [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] and [[Yasuke]] arrived at the district after discovering a dead monk and [[Kyonyo]]'s contact to be the head monk. Realizing the monk was being targeted, they all planned to ambush the attacker at night. Putting out the lights, Naoe and Yasuke waited until nighttime and then confronted the [[bounty hunter]] [[Toro]].
