==Biography==
[[Caligula]], the third Roman emperor, was a violent ruler whose reign was supported and influenced by the [[Order of the Ancients]]. As such, the [[Roman Hidden Ones]] conspired to eliminate him and assigned Leonius to carry out the assassination. ==Legacy==
By the time of the [[Renaissance]], Leonius had become a legendary figure among the [[Assassins]], the successors of the Hidden Ones, and he was posthumously honored as one of their own. A [[Assassin Tombs|tomb]] dedicated to him was built beneath [[Santa Maria della Visitazione]] in [[Venice]], [[Italy]]. The [[Italian Brotherhood of Assassins|Italian Assassin]] [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio Auditore]] explored the tomb and took the hidden [[Assassin Seals|seal]] from the tomb's sarcophagus, which later allowed him to obtain the [[Armor of Altaïr|Armor]] of [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad]] sealed in the [[Sanctuary]] beneath the [[Villa Auditore]] in [[Monteriggioni]] where a statue of Leonius, alongside other celebrated Assassins, had been erected.<ref>''[[Assassin's Creed II]]'' – [[Visitazione's Secret]]</ref>
