Though most were recovered, three [[diamond]]s, including the {{Wiki|Tavenier Blue|French Blue}}, remained at large. One of the thieves visited Lefrançois' shop near [[Halle aux Blés|Halle aux Grains]] and attempted to sell him one of the gems, though he refused to have anything to do with it.
