'''Jonathan Trumbull, Sr.''' (12 October 1710 - 17 August 1785) was the Governor of [[Connecticut]] both before and after the [[American Revolution]]. Trumbull was one of the only [[United Kingdom|British]]-appointed governors to join the [[Patriots|Patriot]] cause.

Trumbull's actions in the war raise the [[Assassins]]' suspicions, and [[Ratonhnhaké:ton]] sent a group of Assassins to investigate the governor. The group confirmed Trumbull was a member of the [[Templars|Templar Order]], and Ratonhnhaké:ton sent the Assassins to eliminate Trumbull, a task that proved succesful in 1785.
