'''Alexandros''' was a 1st century BCE [[Greece|Greek]] herbalist who lived in the [[Paraitonion]] mountains of [[Egypt]].

Many of Alexandros' patrons were individuals who had ties to corrupted officials in the court of pharaoh [[Ptolemy XIII]] and the [[Phylakitai]]. This enabled Alexandros to gain a accumulate a large portion of wealth which he stored in his [[Kalliergeia|villa]] in the mountains. One of his patrons, [[Heliodoros]], eventually discovered Alexandros' patronizing of said individuals, and thus renounced his refusal to conduct business with him any longer. In his letter to the healer, Heliodoros condemned Alexandros' actions and wish upon his downfall.
