In the 870s, she was impregnated by a local man named [[Moccus]], but neither one were married to each other. Feeling ashamed, she left Moccus and soon found herself in the wilderness, where she started to have labor pains. Soon, she was found by the [[Vikings|Viking]] [[shieldmaiden]] [[Eivor Varinsdottir]], who helped her to a nearby abandoned shrine to delivery the baby.
