In 1853, former [[soldier]] [[Simeon Price]] found the acrobat [[Pierrette Arnaud]] performing on the bridge for a moderate crowd. After telling her to stop, Price told Arnaud solely that he cannot help her for [[Ada Lovelace]]'s last wish.
