In the 870s, Chad found himself a home in Essexe and started to create numerous riddles for any visitors that would come across his home. One day, [[Eivor Varinsdottir]] of the [[Raven Clan]] came and found Chad outside his house near [[Walhdenu Altar]]. There, Chad challenged Eivor to answer three of his riddles correctly.
