==Biography==
Batr was fishing near a lake north of [[Gnafandi Keep]] and unable to catch anything due to a cunning [[fish]]. The [[Kjoptr|fish]] eventually talked and convinced Batr to drop his items in the water, especially his [[treasure chest]]'s key. Losing everything, Batr reconvened with his sister, [[Mieri]], who scolded him for giving a fish his items. Luckily for them, the [[Æsir]] lord [[Odin|Havi]] was passing by and offered to help them by catching the fish.
