==Biography==
In 404 BCE, Bakchos aided Critias in investigating [[Polemarchus]] for providing [[Thrasybulus]] with weapons, beating the man while a [[hoplite]] went through his cart. He was stopped from killing Polemarchus on Critias' orders by [[Theramenes]], who convinced Critias that a fair trial was needed. Bakchos then dragged Polemarchus away. A short while later, Bakchos was present when Critias ordered ''[[Mercenary|misthios]]'' [[Kassandra]] to kill Theramenes, leaving with Critias when she refused.
