Modern day was pretty much non-existent in Unity, they surely didn't focus on that for the game's story. I don't know how you can say that we have to remove it because it takes time. And like Misphantom said, AC's modern day is what links every game together and it's IMO the most important part of the franchise. It's what made us wait for the next AC game every year, because we always had kind of the same story in the historical setting. Though the few past games have been sloppy in the modern day story, so I hope Ubi finally delivers something interesting in Syndicate.

I still respect your opinion and I agree when you say that the story should be longer with more memories, without having 100+ London Stories missions.
