'''Bartolomeo's Axe''' was an unlockable [[Heavy weapons|heavy weapon]] in [[Rome]] during the 16th century, attributed to [[Bartolomeo d'Alviano]]. It was one of the weakest heavy weapons in the game, and like all other heavy and two-handed weapons, it required the [[Heavy Sheath|heavy sheath]] in order to be equipped.

Bartolomeo's Axe was awarded to the [[Assassins|Assassin]] [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio Auditore]], after he had completed all the [[Mercenaries|Mercenary]] [[Guild challenges (Brotherhood)|Guild challenges]], and could be found in the [[Tiber Island headquarters|hideout]] on [[Tiber Island]] after doing so. It looked similar, if not identical, to the Labrys wielded by [[Brutes]] during the 15th century.
