Adam and Eve were the two humans shown in Subject 16's The Truth video. They were humans who rebelled against Those Who Came Before. In the Truth video, they are seen running from someone or something. They use free-running to climb a large, futuristic looking building. While Adam and Eve are climbing the building, Eve can be seen holding a stolen Piece of Eden which helps her look through the darkened glass at the human slaves within the building. When they are on top of the building, Eve says: "Adam, I have it!". Adam then says "Eve" and Eve yells: "Look out!".

Both Adam and Eve (as well as other humans in the Truth video) are dressed in skin tight translucent suits (appearing almost naked as their biblical counterparts).

The Binary Code at end of The Truth video translates as:<br />01000101=E<br />01000100=D<br />01000101=E<br />01001110=N<br />

The couple appear to have disobeyed their masters by stealing a Piece of Eden - specifically, one of the Apples which presumably has given them immunity to hypnotism. The theft of the artifact could have been the first act of defiance which caused the conflict as described by Minerva. The 'innocence' of mankind was lost when they realized that the superiority of Those Who Came Before was due to their technological advances. This prompted a war between the two species. Another possibility is that they were given the artifact by one of Those Who Came Before, possibly one who is analogous to the religious entity of Satan.
Subject 16's record also shows that the artifacts (the Staff, the Apple, the Pieces of Eden) were tools that the First Civilization used to wield power over humans. And one glyph puzzles reveal that man was neurologically programmed to obey the pieces. Even so, some are immune to them, and there is some speculation as to why this is, one relatively probable theory derived from glyph puzzle 'Bloodlines' is that at some point humans and Those Who Came Before interbred. This being the case, Desmond and his ancestors' eagle vision, resistance to the pieces of Eden, and Ezio's being able to open the vault may suggest that Desmond's blood line descends from this human/Ones Who Came Before union. Since Adam and Eve managed to disobey their masters, it is possible that they too are hybrids (suggested also by their free running) and had some degree of resistance to mind control.
Biblical
Genesis tells the story of Adam and Eve in chapters 1, 2 and 3, with some additional elements in chapters 4 and 5:

Genesis 2 opens with God fashioning a man from the dust and blowing life into his nostrils. God plants a garden (the Garden of Eden) and sets the man there, "to work it and watch over it," permitting him to eat of all the trees in the garden except the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, "for on the day you eat of it you shall surely die." God had already created the animals, and when Adam tried to find a help-mate, none of the animals are satisfactory, and so God causes the man to sleep, and creates a woman from his rib. The man names her "Woman" (Heb. ishshah), "for this one was taken from a man" (Heb. ish). "On account of this a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his woman." Genesis 2 ends with the note that the man and woman were naked, and were not ashamed.

Genesis 3 introduces the Serpent, "Slyer than every beast of the field." The serpent tempts the woman to eat from the tree of knowledge, telling her that it will not lead to death; she succumbs, and gives the fruit to the man, who eats also, "and the eyes of the two of them were opened." Aware now of their nakedness, they make coverings of fig leaves, and hide from the sight of God. God asks them about what they have done. Adam blames Eve, and Eve blames the serpent. God curses the snake (who before this must have been able to walk before this because) versus 14 says "upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life." God then curses Adam and Eve with hard labor and with pain in childbirth, and banishes them from his garden, setting a cherub at the gate to bar their way to the Tree of Life, "lest he put out his hand ... and eat, and live forever."

Genesis 4 and 5 give the story of Adam and Eve's family after they leave the garden: three children are named, Cain, Abel and Seth, as well as other sons and daughters. Adam lived for 930 years. ("The woman" is given the name Eve in the closing verses of Genesis 3, "because she was the mother of all living"; Adam gets his name when the initial definite article is dropped, changing "ha-adam", "the man", to "Adam".)
Trivia
*It is possible that Adam and Eve could be the offspring of a human and one "Those Who Came Before". It was stated in a journal of Subject 16, that humans have a neuro-transmitter embedded in their brains, which is subject to the power of Eden. If the theory that Altaïr and his bloodline are descendants of a human and one "Those Who Came Before", is to be believed it means that the neuro-transmitter is either not present or non functional in Adam and Eve, which explains why they are resistant.

The Truth Is a sidequest in Assassin's Creed II that can be unlocked by uncovering glyphs throughout the world, and solving the puzzles that accompany each glyph. There are 20 in all, and successfully unlocking each one will give a bit more insight into the Origins of the Templars, the Assassins, and the Piece of Eden.

In the video, Adam and Eve are seen running from something. They move through an open area which may be The Garden of Eden. The scenery is a mixture between flora, a shiny blue material that&nbsp;resembles glass, and a white surface which sounds like stone. The garden is decorated in a very futuristic style which is a strong contrast against the biblical setting. Moving through a circular automatic door, Adam and Eve use free-running (similar to that used by the Assassins) to climb a large, futuristic looking building. While they are climbing the building, a shadow can be seen holding a Piece of Eden to control several human slaves. These workers appear to be in an environment similar to that of a metal refinery. The slave in the foreground is clearly using a hammer to shape a metal object. The brief appearance of the shadow is visually similar to Minerva, sharing the flowing clothes and glowing emblem on the headwear.&nbsp; Adam and Eve continue climbing until they reach the roof of the building. The camera zooms outwards, revealing many other futuristic buildings surrounding them. Further in the background, a mountain is clearly visible, while there is little other elevation in land elsewhere. The terrain is lush, and large forest boundaries are visible. Eve can then be seen to be holding a Piece of Eden. Eve then says "Adam, I have it!",&nbsp;Adam acknowledges Eve, and she then yells: "Look out!" The memory suddenly ends, and binary code flashes up. The numbers read: "EDEN"

These glyphs are based upon the markings left behind in Assassin's Creed, which were left behind by Subject 16, and written in his blood. Many of these glyphs can be recognized as the Cryptic Messages from the previous game.

A list of decrypted messages pertaining to The Truth or that are part of it can be found here.
Trivia
*It is very interesting to note and speculate&nbsp;how Subject 16 managed to get ahold of this video. It is also very probable (considering 16's strong knowledge on the subject) that he knew a lot more than what the video depicted, considering at one Glyph he says "There, do you see what's going on........? *Sigh* not yet, but you will". Meaning that he might have known a lot about the events that appeared in the video, and beyond.

*The Binary at the end of the video translates to EDEN

*Altaïr himself saw the video at one point in his life. As in one of the codex pages, he&nbsp;says the video&nbsp;is the most troubling thing his eyes have ever witnessed. It is clear that he had watched the video, possibly shown to him by the Apple of Eden, describing all the things that happen in the video. Speaking of screaming that still echoes in his mind, flame and fire, and tall metal&nbsp;towers that are overlooked by a mountain. Oddly enough, he does not actually mention or&nbsp;reference to&nbsp;Adam and Eve in any way, while speaking of it.&nbsp; This may also explain how Subject 16 knows about the video, if 16 is another descendant of Altaïr, then it's possible Abstergo ripped the content of this video through the animus, as the same glitches show up through the video when Desmond was in the Animus. Subject 16 likely saw the same as Altaïr, and succeeded to obtain the data Abstergo ripped from his memory and hid it for others to find.
*It is also possible that what Altaïr saw was a glimpse of the future, in which the Twin Towers (Towers of glass and steel) were struck by the two aeroplanes, causing flame and fire, as well as screaming.

*It looks like the mountain in the background is Mount Kilimanjaro, as the mountain is visually Identical to the mountain. The image appears to be taken from the one in Wikimedia, except that it's horizontally flipped. This also makes sense because Mount Kilimanjaro is in Africa, and the origins of humans are said to be in Africa. Also, one of the dots on the codex map in AC2 is in Africa, at roughly the area of Mount Kilimanjaro. Further adding to this theory is that Lucy herself said that Vidic tagged events in the Middle East and Ancient Africa.

*It's possible that Subject 16 is a descendant of Adam and Eve and that Altair could be related to Adam and Eve.

*Also since Minerva has been a "god" to many other religions which is the reason of her many names, she could have had an evil version which could possibly be the silhouette in the window while Adam and Eve are climbing up the building. There is a very similar to the shape of Minerva's body
*It is possible that the video is taken from a time period pre dating the war that&nbsp;Minerva referred to, when humans we're enslaved by 'Those who came Before'. It is likely then that Adam and Eve escaping Eden (the haven in which 'gods' and humans lived) sparked the human rebellion which&nbsp;led to the cataclysmic event also mentioned by Minerva.
Altaïr's armor is known to be the most powerful armor in Assassin's Creed II. Since it cannot break, it doesn't need to be repaired, which saves the user a great deal of florins. Unfortunately, the outside of the armor cannot be dyed visibly when all four pieces are worn by Ezio; only the inside of the hood is affected by dyeing Ezio's clothes with the aid of a tailor. In Altaïr's codex pages, the assassin claims to have created a new metal which is incredibly strong whilst being light as a feather. Since this armor is impervious to damage, it is possible that it is made out of said material. In a contrast to other assassin's robes, Altaïr's Armor is black, while Ezio and Altaïr originally wore white, allthough the black color scheme can be attributed to the rank of Grandmaster of the Syrian Assassin's Sect, which Altair obtained after defeating Al Mualim.
Ezio Auditore Da Firenze, is a young member of the Florentine Nobility and the second son of Giovanni Auditore, an Assassin. He is ignorant to his father's true profession, and his hereditary duties. He has slight skills at playing chess, and he is "learning fast" according to his mother (though he lost against his older brother, Federico).

Assassin's Creed II
Ezio Auditore da Firenze's story begins moments after he exits the womb of his mother, Maria Auditore. A sense of threat is clear at the sight of the baby boy. Giovanni Auditore, dismisses the trepidation of the wet nurse and his Mother by welcoming Ezio into the world and bestowing his name upon him. We rejoin Ezio years later during a rousing pre-fight speech, addressing the other members of the House of Auditore. Ezio is holding one side of a bridge against Vieri Di Pazzi and his men, whom insult the House of Auditore, and Ezio's mother and father personally. Reprimanded gently by his elder brother, Frederico and his father, Ezio becomes more involved with his family's affairs. He would then sleep with Cristina Vespucci that night. His father, Giovanni, and another man, Uberto Alberti are discussing secret matters that Ezio can't make sense of, but seem urgent. Eventually, guards raid the Giovanni home and arrest Giovanni, Federico, and Petruccio. Ezio delivers evidence that can prove his family's innocence to Uberto, who promises to defend them at the hearing. But it turns out Alberti is a traitor who destroyed the evidence and sentenced the three Auditore men to death. Swearing vengeance, Ezio has to hide his mother and sister and learn the ways of the assassin. He is first taught stealth by Paula of the Courtesans, and later combat, by his uncle Mario, of the Mercenary faction. After assassinating Uberto, apparently a city official in charge of the law, Ezio has to balance his life between assassinations and protecting his sister and mother, who refuses to speak after Ezio's father and brothers were taken. Now wanted in Florence, Ezio has to flee Firenze to Tuscany with his family to the Auditore villa. He meets up with Uncle Mario, whose mercenaries save his family from an attack by Pazzi.
Background
Ezio is a young Florentine nobleman who lives in Florence during the 15th century. Unlike Altaïr, he is a seducer, and he easily blends with any social classes. He has an affluent lifestyle and many friends until a life-changing event. He and his family are betrayed, victims of a conspiracy that takes his father's, elder brother's, and younger brother's lives, forcing him to flee from guards and become an Assassin, not just to protect himself , Mother and Sister, but to get vengance on the conspiritors who betrayed him.

From that day, Ezio is considered a criminal and a traitor, and has to protect his mother and his sister. He becomes an assassin to accomplish his vengeance against the ones responsible for the tragedy that befell him and his family (it is likely that those men are Templars (see the last shot of Lineage Part II - The swords are lain down in the shape of the Templar symbol). Ezio is helped not only by his uncle Mario, but also Leonardo da Vinci who becomes his best friend and his personal engineer, as well as Niccolò Machiavelli and other famous Renaissance figures.

Ezio will travel across Italy to various locations like Venice, Tuscany and Rome. In Assassin's Creed II, we will be playing approximately 23 years of his life from when he was 17 year old (a Novice), to 44 year old (a Master Assassin), 1476 to 1499.

Equipment
Ezio is able to use a variety of weapons including two hidden blades, allowing him to eliminate two enemies simultaneously. Combat is also available with the hidden blade, as when countering an enemy, Ezio will kill the enemy, whether by jabbing repeatedly in the chest/stomach, orr stabbing in the head. He can also steal (and use) several enemy weapons such as axes, hammers, maces, spears, halberds and two different sword types (one- and two-handed). Ezio is also able to use Da Vinci's flying machine in some parts of the game, gaining altitude from fires set throughout the city by his allies. Ezio will gain many upgrades from Da Vinci on his wrist gauntlet like a small pistol of some sort (most likely an early wheel lock firearm) concealed near his left hidden blade, or a poison needle. Ezio possesses the ability to use Eagle Vision

while moving. He can visit Blacksmiths to purchase weapons and armors including Helmschmeid and Metal Plate, or tailors to customize the colors of his clothing.&nbsp; After obtaining all six keys from the Assassin's Tomb Ezio can open the lock to Altair's Assassin uniform and hidden blade.

Trivia
* The Italian name 'Ezio' derives from the Greek word 'Aetos', which means "Eagle", similar to Altaïr whose name means "The Flying One".
* Unlike Altaïr (who had his ring finger removed to make way for the Hidden Blade), Ezio has all ten fingers (as evidenced by the fact he wears a ring marked with the Assassin's symbol). This was due to a modification of the Hidden Blade by Leonardo da Vinci.
* It is stated in the Philosophical Codex that after Altaïr defeated Al-Mualim at the end of the first Assassin's Creed and became the leader, the Assassins were forced to realize the scope of their fight against the Templars, and would have to abandon many of their traditions, like the removal of the ring finger or the ban on using poison, in order to survive.
* Ezio uses a wheel lock firearm, a type of weapon that Europe didn't start developing until the very late 1400's and early 1500's, making this weapon most likely one of the very first of its type to appear in Europe, thus many people may not know what the weapon is in game. The earliest firearms were single shot and took time to reload, so will most likely be only used as a last resort weapon. Once again Leonardo Da Vinci didn't create the Hidden Gun, but found instructions to make one from a Codex page, meaning Altaïr invented the Hidden Gun (and most likely the first ever firearm). Also note that Da Vinci created some of the first modern wheel lock pistols, so this could be a shortened version of one.
* Ezio's face in Assassin's Creed II seems to be a mixture of Desmond's (Francisco Randez) and Devon Bostick's from Lineage .
* It seems that Ezio is the only one that grows older (shown by his beard) at 1499.
