Dilara was an Ottoman spy based in Cappadocia during the early 16th century. Tasked with spying on the Byzantine Templars, she worked with the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze during his visit to the city.

Biography
A Turkish woman born in the Topkapi Harem, Dilara was raised from birth to honor the Sultan and his family, and trained to desire nothing more than a fine husband and a lofty station in life.
This strict set of boundaries did not please or amuse her, however, and she quickly gained a reputation as an ill-mannered and brazen upstart. This suited her just fine – as it did a Janissary named Tarik Barleti, who quite admired her boldness.
Taken by her charms, Tarik eventually arranged for her release to work as an envoy for the Janissaries, half out of kindness and half hoping this would win Dilara’s affections. It did not, and became a source of much grief for Tarik in his later years.

In March of 1512, she met with Ezio Auditore, whilst posing as a slave in Cappadocia. During that time, she was captured and imprisoned by Shahkulu, as other Ottoman spies had been. He would personally kill every prisoner by beating them to death. The stack of corpses was creating a stench in the prison. Ezio, however, was able to save Dilara after stealing the keys to the cell she was in from one of the guards at the market place. Once rescued, she furiously went after Shahkulu when Ezio informed her that he was going to perform one of his public beatings infront of the chapel in Cappadocia.

Shahkulu was beating Janos, one of the members of Dilara's group of spies. Ezio killed Shahkulu before he could finish Janos off. Afterwards, Dilara informed Ezio that the weapons she and the spies had brought were confiscated by the Templars.
Attack on Suleiman I
In 1511, Tarik became very distrustful of Ahmet, Suleiman's uncle. Tarik saw Ahmet not fit to lead, much to Ahmet's anger. It is also implied that Tarik ordered an assassination attempt on Suleiman to make Ahmet look weak, a task the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze was entrusted with stopping.
Templar association and death
Tarik came into contact with Manuel Palaiologos and Shahkulu, both of whom were members of the Templar Order. Ezio observed this meeting while tailing Tarik, at the request of Prince Suleiman. Believing Tarik to be a Templar, Ezio air assassinated Tarik in his camp while wearing a stolen Janissary outfit.

An inch from death, Ezio was proved wrong of accusing him of treachery, for Tarik was preparing an ambush to strike Manuel, Shahkulu, and other Byzantine Templars "when they felt safest". Ezio did not believe him at first, but the dying Tarik produced a document that would eventually lead Ezio to the Byzantines in Cappadocia and urged him to destroy them. Ezio relented and begged for forgiveness, but Tarik pled him to protect his homeland in God's name and to redeem the honor they had lost in this fight. He had even gone as far as to send an envoy to Cappadocia, Dilara, who posed as a slave; she was actually a love interest of Tarik's.

In 1512, she met with Ezio Auditore, whilst posing as a peasant in Cappadocia. It is unknown whether she survived the earthquake in Cappadocia.
Shahkulu (died 1512) was a Templar during the 16th century and the leader of the Shahkulu rebellion - a widespread pro-Shia and pro-Safavid uprising in Anatolia, directed against the Ottoman Empire in 1511.
Biography
Early life
As a child, Shahkulu was born into a Turkmen tribe in eastern Anatolia, which was oppressed by the Ottoman Empire as it was on the edge of its boundaries. Later on in his life, an Ottoman ambush on his tribe left him orphaned and alone, so Shahkulu joined the Templar Order partly out of his need for companionship and revenge. Over time, Shahkulu grew to hate the Ottoman Turks for what they had done, as well any who opposed the Templar ideology, and made it his mission to eliminate any that stood in his Order's way.

Partnership with Manuel
Shahkulu eventually became a feared Templar and circa 1511, formed a partnership with the heir to the fallen Byzantine Empire and fellow Templar, Manuel Palaiologos. Shahkulu aided Manuel in his attempt to restore the Byzantines remnants to their former strength, partly because he believed Manuel would reward him if the Empire was successfully restored. By mid 1511, Shahkulu, with Manuel, met with Janissary Tarik Barleti in Constantinople to gain access to the Arsenale to check a shipment of weapons. Inspecting the weapons, Shahkulu reminded Manuel that he helped him restore his army and he should not forget.
Cappadocia and death
A[[File:ACR_screenshot_Cappadocia_01.jpg|thumb|250px|Shahkulu prepares to kill more Ottomans.
]]fter his part in the Shahkulu Rebellion and Constantinople, Shahkulu retreated to the Templar headquarters in Cappadocia. There, several of Tarik Barleti's spies were captured. Being Ottoman Turks, Shahkulu personal killed everyone of them, by beating each one to death. In 1512, after a meeting with who, Manuel consulted Shahkulu of his torture on the Ottoman spies, he demanded that his men bring several more spies to the chapel, where he intended to kill more by beating them to death. However, this received the attention of Ezio Auditore da Firenze. One of the spies captured was Dilara, who was posing a peasant; she was eventually rescued by Ezio.

Shortly, a crowd gathered at the chapel where Shahkulu was to perform another one of his public killings. Shahkulu came onto the courtyard of the chapel, and immediately began beating the Ottoman prisoners to death. However, Ezio attempted to assassinate Shahkulu from above with his hidden blade. Ezio told Shahkulu that he deserved no pity for his sadism. However, Shahkulu's armor from a killing blow, and began to strangle Ezio. Throwing Ezio aside, Shahkulu proceeded to duel the Assassin. However, Shahkulu was bested and killed by Ezio.

Legacy
In 2012, his genetic memories were used by Abstergo Industries under the name of the Renegade for their Animus subjects.

History

He had even gone as far as to send an envoy to Cappadocia, Dilara, who posed as a peasant; she was actually a love interest of Tarik's.
Dilara was the Ottoman spy in Cappadocia during the early 16th century. She was tasked with spying on the Byzantine Templars.

I know they haven't released any videos or 3-D art of her yet, but I hope they don't make her look like her picture. I only ask because Lucrezia doesn't look like her live painting in the game. She looks much more feminine in game than in that portrait. I hope Sofia is as pretty as Cristina was-- her voice actor must be pretty. And then I saw another picture that Albrecth Durer painted of a Venetian woman on the Internet and she was chunky. :D Maybe (and hopefully) these are 2 different women he saw on the street that he decided to paint. Strang3Happ3nings, Cristina Vespucci's voice actress is Amber Goldfarb. You can find her wikia page on here if you search for it (it's also attached to Cristina's own wikia page). During his brief stay in Venice, Leonardo da Vinci was a paid military engineer for the Venetian army, and claimed to be working on a painting of the famous Isabella d'Este, of whom he had made a cartoon while visiting Mantua. Despite promising her repeatedly that he was hard at work, no painting ever materialized.
