'''Downloadable content''' (also known as '''DLC''') refers to content released separately from ''[[Assassin's Creed II]]''. The first DLC, entitled [[Battle of Forlì]], was released January 28th, 2010. Whilst the second one, entitled [[Bonfire of the Vanities]], was released on February 18th, 2010.

Both DLC packs fill the previously missing memory blocks that were originally cut from the game's design. The Bonfire of the Vanities includes a new area in [[Florence]], the sprint-jump ability (which allows [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]] to jump twice as far), as well as the three in-game bonus memories (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 only), allowing Ezio to explore Templar Lairs previously available only in [[Assassin's Creed II#Editions|special editions]] of the game.
