The '''Crusader''' is a multiplayer character for the upcoming game ''[[Assassin's Creed: Revelations]]'', and should not be confused with the Christian armies of the Third Crusade, the [[Crusaders]], which share the same name.

When [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze]] obtained one of [[Seals of Altaïr]] from [[Leandros]], he relived the life as the [[Assassins|Assassin]] [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad]] before the events of ''[[Assassin's Creed]]'', who had come back to [[Masyaf]] to find that his mentor, [[Al Mualim]], had been captured and some of his ally Assassins murdered.

Before the events occurred, the Crusader was a secret [[Templars|Templar]], who had entered into the Assassins before his betrayal, though he stated that he was not a traitor from the start for he "''could not betray those who he never truly loved.''" He then told Altaïr that taking any steps forwards would result in the death of his mentor, so Altaïr did what he was told and stopped, while the Crusader closed the gates and returned to Al Mualim.

In order to get to the Templar, Altaïr had to find a different route to infiltrate the Assassin fortress, choosing to climb up some wooden scaffolding until he reached a ledge on the wall. The player controling Altair, could then choose diffirent options of confronting the Templar.

As the two talked in the memory corridor, the Crusader mocked Altair for following the [[The Creed|Creed]], stating that while he believed that he may not be wise enough to understand it, he suspected that he was too wise to believe in the rubbish he thought it was, before dying.

He wears black armor with silver lining and chainmail suit with a helmet that shows the Templar cross. His name is currently unknown, though his weapon is a two-handed sword.

The Crusader casually walks up to his target and flicks his head forward hitting the target on the bridge of the nose. This makes the target flinch and hold their face, in this time the Crusader draws his sword and, holding it with two hands, slashes it through the targets neck severing the spinal chord at the neck, killing the unfortunate victim instantly.

The Crusader quickly walks behind his victim and draws his sword. He then lances his blade through the victims back, the shocked victim then looks down at the blade that has pierced right through their body as the Crusader pulls his blade out of the victims body and quickly sheaths his sword.
