Unlike the robe [http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Alta%C3%AFr_Ibn-La%27Ahad Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad] wore in the events Assassin's Creed, this armor provides more protection against offensive attacks and was dyed black/red. Due to its advanced designing, it is more similar to the armor of his descendants Giovanni & Ezio wear then his previous armor. The armor is known to be seen in Assassin's Creed 2, and Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines

After the events of assassin's creed, Altaïr created his own set of armor.

Years later, Altaïr's Armor is locked inside a tomb behind bars which only open when all 6 seals from other hidden assassin's tombs are collected and placed in their places in front of the statues that each of the 6 seals corresponds to. As each seal is placed, a bar (too which the placed seal corresponds) retracts into the wall. When all 6 seals are placed, the grate that also blocks access to the armor retacts into the floor, leaving the player free to take Altaïr's armor. The armor comes into the possession of Altair's descendant, Ezio Auditore Da Firenze (Who collects all 6 tokens from the hidden tombs) in the late 1400's. Altaïr's armor is known to be the strongest armor in Assassins' Creed II. Since it cannot break, it doesn't need to be repaired, which saves the user a great deal of florins. Unfortunately, the outside of the armor cannot be dyed visibly when all four pieces are worn by Ezio; only the inside of the hood is affected by dyeing Ezio's clothes with the aid of a tailor.  [[File:AltairsArmor2.png|thumb|Ezio equiped with Altair's Armor]]
