Kain your logic about ethniceties is completly messed up, no offense.

How can people complain that AC games are not ethnically diverese? If there is one game series that is, than it's AC.

And AC game are set in historical time periods when national diversaty inside one country was very rare (except countries like Habsburg monarhcy for example where there were 10 different nations leaving in one country, but even there mixed people were rare. Germas married Germans, Hungarians Hungarians, Czech Czech and so one.

And to correct Kain who only game so much info to cover his own statmant, but he failed :

Altair - Arab

Ezio - Italian

Connor- Half Native American (Mohawk), half British (a guarter Welsh and three quarter English)

Aveline - Half African, half French

Edward - Half Welsh, half English

Adewale - African

Shay - Irish

Arno - Half French, half Austrian (which is German)

Sorry but you can't sell me that AC is not racially or even nationaly diverse. I mean what are you expectiong a Samoan during french revolution?

If anything the problem is that Ubisoft is picking countries and time periods as they are. I would complain if someday Ubi makes a game in I don't know Japan and the protagonist is a white guy.

The other thing is that females are not equally represented. But I guess is just being historicaly correct when it comes to this. Considering the status of the females of those time periods. But next game is set in Victorian London in the period when the feminsim started and one of the protagonist is female so Ubisoft is "fixing" that.

Crook your first sentance made me laugh. LOL. You are joking again right? But you confused me with that Ubisoft masculine characters. Anyway how come people come to the conclusion that Evie will die? About that 50-50. I suppose Ubisoft saw Jacob as a lead character and they gave him more play time. Or they created Evie just for the sake of having female protagonist and calm down certain people and kinda make peace with them.

And something that appears to be a fight club. Hope it it is.It better be.It's 19th century and its London. I just hope they don't mess it up like they did in AC3. But they need to make it proper. Like a tournament, with cutscenes, with tough opponets (some would say bosses).

And I really hope that the protagonist will be a tough guy, a real badass MF for a change. Cmon it's 19th century. And I'm tired on Altair and Ezio reincarnations. I have no idea why man from the history are portreyed like pussies nowadays. Is it that modern man can relate to them easier?

Anyways, I'm first impressions are good. It's seems they made some steps in the right direction, but we'll see.

About that last ones being good. That's a matter of opinion. You said they were good and you said Unity was an exception to that. If you look at the reviews of all the big reviewrs,gaming websites,gaming magazines and such you will see that Unity is ranked much higher than Rogue. And Unity sold more copies than Rogue. This are the facts.

And you said that Ubisoft HAVE to get this right. First what do you mean by "HAVE to get this right"? You mean in quality. Than no.The last games with the exception of Black Flag are prove of that (but again quality is a matter of opinion). If you mean financially than again no. All those game,all of them were financilly suscessfull. If you mean because they are losing fan base, than again no, fan base is bigger than ever. Or if you mean they "have to make it right" because heads will roll at Ubisoft,than I would again say no, or at least I highly doubt. Or if you meant because Ubisoft will be really concered and sorry for dissapointing their consumers than I would again say no.

Nobleman might of have gold knucless with I don't know diamonds in them. It would go nice with his luxery hunting rifle and custom made sword. Thogh rifle would probably the ony thing that he would use. Shooting birds and such.

I wouldn't expect too much. And I most definitely wouldn't count on that "it can't be worse that Unity".I wish I would share you optimism, but I don't. Nothing so far made me think otherwise. My "predictions" are based on the past games. And the fact that period in new AC games is so much different than the last ones, but it's coming out in half a year.

Sure, as a fan of the series I want next AC to succeed, but I'm very skeptical and I doubt it will be any better than the last ones.

I partially agree with that "where's the revolution" in Unity. Sure there are riots an executions but I kinda missed more of that and other revolutionary stuff in the main story. But t I'm glad they didn't just mix every possible event of the french revolution in the game. Forrest Gump all over again.They kinda did that with 3 and it didn't work well. For Unity I would say there were enough historical events : storming the Bastille, estates general,festival of the supreme being,king Louis' execution, september massacres,storming of Tuileries...

So yeah more revolutinary stuff but not what happend in real life but more from fiction. As someone already said maybe there would be some Assassin to be executed and you would have to prevent it. And complete lack of Assassins being connected to sans-cullotes is just strange if you ask me.

If there is one AC games where there weren't enough historical people and events it was Black Flag. I mean were the hell was Black Sam Belamy which was not only the pirate that earnd most he was in very interesting person he was know for being kind he called himself Robin Hood, I totaly saw his as Assassin and maybe Edward's friend.Not to mention he was in Hornigold's crew so there were very big chances that if you knew Hornigold you knew Thatch and Belamy too.Just BTW.

I liked Paris very much. I spend hours just exploring the city.

Unfortunately everything else was pretty much average. Main story was way too short, again sticking to usual Ubisoft's attitude torwards AC series with putting some historical events in the game but not thinking how that event fits in the story, but just puting in it for the sake of being in the game. Poorley designed characters, and you only see each a few times because the main story is too short.And I couldn't get rid of the feeling that Ubisoft had quotas for everything and was like ok we filled that, lets move to the next one we have a deadline here. Lack of inovation, lack of trying something different, complete lack of polishing the game,terrible graphical issues and cutting some gameplay elements that were present in the previous games (no fist fighting,no hiding bodies,..) were also a big problem.

In short I liked the city, I would say it is the best in AC games to date, probably because it's next gen (this gen), but you need a powerfull machine or it will be the worst in the series. But even with good GPU and CPU ( I have GTX 980 Poseidon) there are way to many graphical problems and I can't max out the game. I run it on 2560x1440 everything on max but no AA at all and I get aroung 45 fps.

They only complaint I have about the city is that large amount of the southeren part of the city is underused. You never visit it in the main story (if I'm correct Bievre and Panteon and anoter one I can't remember) and the crowd is very similar. There are not enough different NPC walking the street and I found many times 3 or 4 exactly the same NPC walking the street right next to each other.

I'm not gonna tell other people what to do. If they want to buy AC games let them buy them. But as long as they are still buying them even though they are made, yeah I would say in months, I don't buy that "we were working on it for 3 years" (so you've worked on this game for 3 years with 7 studios and this is what you come up with, you know people faces dissappearing,not to mention 100 other thing they got wrong) and nothing gets better but even worse, yet people are still buying them, than nothing will change. I'll pass.
