Then why don't we also put one for the high contributors themselves on that list. Listen, since activity here is going back up again, somewhere in the next month I plan to make our first staff meeting. I was more of a Goku fan in the beginning, but when Gohan turned Super Saiyan two I was sold on him. And I started to really like him when he became a teenager, though not when he was acting goofy like in the Saiyaman saga. Well in case of Ezio and Altaïr, I really don't dig the cape, seriously! I almost hate it! I just think it ruins the outfit. As for personality. I agree, Altaïr was arrogant, but he learned great wisdom and hummility by becoming demoted. Ok, so I beat the first Assassin's Creed and I was wondering if you can clear some stuff up for me:

1) How do I assassinate Robert de Sable at Arsuf in the same manner as it is shown in his picture on this article?

2) How do we know Altair became the Grand Master of the Assassins (if it is cleared up in Assassin's Creed II, try to explain without spoilers)?

3) Is there anything to do after the credits beside revisiting the Animus and looking at the symbols?

Myeah I'm sorry but I don't think I can help you with that. Maybe it depends of where you stand or I think it's possible because he is only fighting with his hidden blade. I'm not sure if that is possible, though I am sure you can fight with the hidden blade in the second one. Cause if you fight only with your sword, then it automatically switches like to a video where he gets stabbed with the hidden blade anyway, so maybe that doesn't happen when you just use the hidden blade, though I can't remember if that is possible. From what I remember if you tried it, when an enemy saw you they would always block your arms and prevent you from stabbing him.[[user:Altaïr|Altaïr]] February 26, 2010 (UTC))

Unnecessary. The wiki keeps backups of all edits ever made to any page. If you see a huge vandalism section with multiple users vandals, just go to the history page, choose a version without vandalizing, click the edit page and save without adding anything. I agree with your view in that, it would be stupid to show what will happen in a cinematic before a game is released, but we ''cannot'' deny the fact that not only have these trailers been created and published by Ubisoft, but that in doing so, Ubisoft has made these canon; it won't be until the release of Brotherhood, which may or may not contradict the trailer, that we can deem them non-canon. So until that happens, it's this sites duty to maintain the information. Also, I've noticed that you're trying to suggest that the gameplay trailer is different to the cinematic, but at the basic level I do not see how. Plenty of games have had gameplay trailers released, which differed from the end product, nullifying what could previously be considered to have canonically occured. If you remember AC1 intro, Altaïr killed a guy in Acre and had crossbow. Now, we kill a guy in Acre, but it isn't the trailer guy or place. The church in front of where he is killed exists ingame, but the plaza and stand does not. And you know.. that crossbow? Don't exist either. So you telling me that that trailer is canon? Well, it is not. ACII trailer was similar. Venezia, Carnivale, Hidden Gun, assassination. Those trailers take *elements* of what we will have in-game, but doesn't depict the exact happening we will experience. So my guess is they will keep the trailer in game for what it is, a presentation media, as they did with both before. I don't know what the article you guys are discussing is, but Al has a point. What we were and Jasca were discussing is the content of the cinematic trailer being placed in Ezio's profile and of Cesare's. in the end the proof that they're canon is against these trailers. Also what I meant with gameplay trailers differ because how they are played out, but the animation in between will very likely still be the same, depending on what genre of game you're playing. Just think. That animation of Ezio sleeping with Caterina Sforza or the parade in the cinematic trailer? You almost have a complete guarantee that the first animation I mentionned will be in the game, but the animation in the cinematic trailer is showing something that 'might' happen in the game, but only in a similar way. There's many examples. Like you said Force Unleashed. Instead of Raxus Prime as in the game, the star destroyer was brought down above Naboo in the trailer. In the trailer of the second game you see him walking behind Vader going to an arena, while I know that doesn't happen cause Vader is not in his presence at that time. He's with Kota. But take Dragon Age for example. They climb up some mountain to search the ashes of some sacred woman (forgot her name) and above they immediately get attacked by Darkspawn and then later a dragon, possibly the Archdemon arrives. :I suggest you keep your tone down. There's been a lot of articles I had picture removed such as Altaïr's itself cause there were too many picture on the article, which made it look too busy. What truly matters is more what is written, rather than the added pictures. The text is meant to be informative. The pictures serve to back-up what is written in the text or to depict what you can't write in a text. And drop the capitals and learn to write your signature properly!
@D.Cello... I do think there's another solution, cause like I said the picture looks out of place. So the best solution would be to combine pictures and with the text under it I think people can tell which edition is which. :Should be fairly easy to adjust your time. You were on the right track. If you go to preferences you'll see several bars at the top. The first one being 'Profile options'. A few bit next to this bar is 'Date and time'. There you can make adjustments for where you live and that should correct the time on this wiki for you. == New Codex Map ==

The completed codex map viewed through eagle vision at the end of ACII is pretty interesting. A lot of the dots are the same as in AC1 but some are different and there is now 47. Also, there are 8 Assassin's seals. Personally, I think these seals represent the temples that Minerva spoke of at the end of ACII. These 8 seals appear to represent America(New York), China(Xiang), Norse civilization, Kingdom of Nri (Nri-Igbo), the Majapahit empire (Trowulan) and the Galapagos Islands(for whatever reason). The other two seals are located in parts of the ocean where no islands exist (south of Australia and West of South America(it is too far away to be Easter Island)). Also of note, one of the dots appears to be right in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, which is usually where Atlantis is depicted to be.

well, its not ment to be a religious game, in fact, in the continuity of the game its sujested that all the religions, wars, times of peice, and leaders were actualy caused by people manipuating the peices of eden. I have to agree that the game should be viewed as a parallel universe, although I find that it is leaning against Catholocism more than other religions because the templars are based within the catholic church, their leader becomes the pope, the catholic leader of Britain is a templar ally, Minerva says "beware the cross" not beware the templar or those that stand in your way but specifically the cross even though it is no longer a templar symbol like abstergo's banner, it just seems a little biased in that direction. Otherwise not a very offensive game since the concept of free will and freedom from bondage by injustice (Those Who Came Before and Humans) are central to most religions in one form or another. Also religion should not be bashed because it is used as an excuse for evil, patriotism, family, and personal welfare have been used for evil as well. Does that mean they should be given up? Also, 3 kings? What are you talking about? The Magi were mentioned specifically in christianity and nowhere else. Mary is also not a repetition why would the jewish founders of Christianity use pagan traditions? Their culture forbade the teaching of such religions to jews and the prophecy of the virgin birth was written down hundreds of years before by the prophet Isaiah. #In the Truth video, Adam and Eve both see human workers or slaves in some sort of factory. Maybe the Piece of Eden was controlling the minds of the slaves and Adam and Eve were immune to its power. Perhaps Altair and Desmond are descendants of the two.
#The artifacts protect earth somehow.
#We are told by Dr. Vidic that they were left by [[Those Who Have Gone Before|Those Who Have Come Before]].
#The Artifacts also seem to have other abilities like time travel (it is mentioned in the e-mails on Lucy Stillman's computer). It is possible that they were made in the future and, for some reason, sent back in time. Perhaps when the Piece of Eden was damaged in Assassin's Creed, the map was not showing where to find the other artifacts but it was picking a location for it to travel to safety.
#There was a race of beings on Earth, whilst dinosaurs lived, that created the Artifacts. And it was no meteorite that hit the earth, but some huge explosion caused by the Artifacts that ended much of the life on the Earth at the time.
#Desmond and his ancestors all have some sort of link with the Artifacts, which would explain why they can resist its power.
#(Please edit later as the proof can be found on Youtube) Adam and Eve (who had blue, glowing lines) managed to steal "The Apple" by using free-running (Supporting theory 4) from the Garden of Eden (which looked more like a facility with seemingly enslaved workers working to build possibly more pieces). #It has been suggested that at some point multiple Pieces of Eden became centralized and governed over by a council of Templars and dispatched to parts of the world in which they perceived there power to be in jeopardy. This can be assumed form the decoded glyphs Ezio helps Desmond uncover in Assassins Creed II. In one such message a world map is shown with a number of high level dignitaries and historical figures, all implied targets of assassins, all of which were directly involved with restorations, or attempted restorations of trappings of power. IE: Mary I of England whom is on the list, Following her father (Henry VIII) creation of the first Protestant state, as well as his standing objection against Pope Paul III, remained a catholic and on her coronation went about persecuting all whom rejected the church's power. It can be assumed she was given a piece of eden by the Pope, or other machinations of the Templars to bring England back into the fold. As she is canonically referred to as assassinated by in game content, it can be assumed that instead of confiscating the Apple, the assassins respected the lineage and bestowed it upon Elizabeth I. (This is not fully true as some on this list also represent apparent Templar assassins whom were killed in vengeance for being successful in some measure (John W. Booth).)

I'm also confused. On the PoE page, it says that the Second Apple was the one destroyed in the satellite incident. But there are other claims that the First Piece of Eden, the one possessed by Altair and Ezio, was destroyed as it refers to the destroyed Apple as the "Masyaf Piece of Eden". I think there's a bit of confusion there.

It was Piece of Eden 1 , the apple that Altair got which was destroyed in the satellite incident, Vidic states this in Asassin's Creed when Desmond asks him if they are after the Piece of Eden he sees, he tells Desmond that they already found it. As we know it turns out they are looking for the map. It is also told that The Masyaf piece of Eden was destroyed in the satellite incident on the computer, which is the first piece of eden.

Well Antartica may have not been fully developed yet because it has very low percipation, it took thousands of years to gain all that ice.

Shouldn't this article be split between the PoE that is featured in the first game (ie. the apple) and the actual category as a whole?

I personally think that Ezio's and Leonardo's resistance is not a matter of genetics or bloodlines but Willpower. That there is nothing special about the Auditore family, and Ezio simply does have the Willpower to resist while Mario does not.

If the customization refers only to dye, as the linked article suggests, I can confirm this is wrong. I was wearing Altair's armor but I have not changed the colors in a tailor shop, but the other Ezios still had different colors.

Just because they refer to an individual owning both doesn't mean that they're "one and the same". The very characteristics and myths behind the Golden Fleece and the Spear of Destiny don't come close to matching at all. The same applies to the Spear of Destiny and the Staff. Just because the Staff can be used as a spear doesn't mean that they're the same. The Staff is used for mental manipulation and the Spear of Destiny has its own abilities. It´s a bit confusing... Altair had the intention to hide his PoE in the Archive at Cyprus but instead kept it with him.
