==Description==
Having killed [[Rashid ad-Din Sinan|Al Mualim]] and retaken the [[Apple of Eden]], [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad]] carries the body of his former Mentor to be burned. The burning of the body causes an uproar, leading to [[Abbas Sofian]] taking the Apple.

The Apple overtakes Abbas and goes out of control. Altaïr makes his way to save Abbas.

==Outcome==
Altaïr burns Al Mualim's body, and saves Abbas from the Apple of Eden. Soon after, Altaïr would take control of the Assassin Order.

==Trivia==
*To achieve full [[Synchronization]], Altaïr must not lose more than three synchronization points.
*Several dead Assassins can be seen in the courtyard behind the fortress, despite the fact Altaïr only fought [[Al Mualim]] and the illusions created by him there.
*This memory takes place right after the end of [[Assassin's Creed|the original game]].
*When viewed in Eagle Sense, some of the Assassin Guards will glow red and some of them will glow blue.
*It is noted that Al Mualim used the Apple of Eden to control the minds of Masyaf villagers. However, while the player is carrying his former Mentor's body, a villager can be geard saying that ''his mind was clear, but his body would not move. ''
