Oh yes, the old, tried knee-jerk reaction of branding the dissenter a troll when too lazy to continue the debate in a proper fashion. I was wondering when one of you was going to do that.

But seriously: It just sounds very backwards to base canon on a writer not associated with the game writing staff which are the main creative force behind the series. What happened in Revelations might be a retcon, but it is still how the the game writing staff decided to depict it, and, in-universe, it is how Altaïr himself remembered it, so why wouldn't it override anything else?<ac_metadata title=""> </ac_metadata>

== Biography ==
A member of the Templars since before 1933, Hitler received a [[Piece of Eden]] from his fellow Templar, [[Henry Ford]]. Henry Ford was given Hitler's personalized [[wikipedia:Nazi|Nazi]] Templar Cross adorned with Swastikas which was only given to other Templars as gifts of their brotherhood.

Hitler used it to achieve a democratic takeover of the country and subsequently turn it into a National Socialist dictatorship. With the Piece of Eden in his possession, this change was widely unopposed and he remained highly popular within [[wikipedia:Germany|Germany]]: fanatical soldiers accepted his orders unquestioningly and proceeded to invade Poland, starting the Second World War. Eventually however, despite the strength of the Piece of Eden, Germany was defeated by the combined might of the [[wikipedia:Allies|Allies]] and [[wikipedia:Soviets|Soviets]], though this could possibly have been a predetermined outcome created by the Knights Templar.

Hitler was given a Piece of Eden which he kept secret from everyone, including his close people like his second in command and secretaries but it is possible that some of his officers and soldiers were part of the order and knew about the Apple. Once he took over Germany, however, he began freely using it to make great strides in numerous scientific fields. He also used the Piece of Eden to begin production of a UFO type aircraft, which was not fully realized as the war ended sooner than expected.

Hitler's purpose of the complete genocide of the Jews was his search for another Piece of Eden believed to be in the hands of a Jewish [[Assassins|Assassin]]. Hitler kept doing experiments on the Jews and making them do work in the Concentration camps for the fact that there could be other possible Assassins in the Jewish populace. Hitler believed if there were Assassins in the camps they would attempt to escape and would end up being killed by the Nazis in their attempt. Those who had experiments done to them were possibly interrogated on the location of the Piece of Eden. All attempts to find the Piece of Eden were stopped when the Allies liberated most of the camps.

Hitler was meant to survive the war by faking his death with a body double. Shortly before the war's end, a patient Assassin caught him outside the [[wikipedia:Führerbunker|Führerbunker]]. His actual death would go unnoticed until his failure to meet with his fellow Templars.

What became of the Piece of Eden following Hitler's death remains unknown.

Hitler was greatly obsessed with the occult and mysterious. He used that as a cover story to further his search for the other Pieces of Eden. It was noted in a few documentaries that he searched greatly for the Spear of Longinus, A.K.A. (Also Known As) The Holy Lance, the spear that pierced Christ's side during his time on the Cross. This is more than likely a Piece of Eden known as the Spear. There are also numerous other items he supposedly had sought out for occult value that includes, the [[Ark of the Covenant]], the Holy Grail and numerous other such objects.
