Emilio Barbarigo (1421-1485) was a tyrant of [[Venice]] and was secretly a [[Templar]]. He is the first assassination target in Venice. Nevertheless, he was an extremely wealthy noble, who's sole desire was to take over Venice.  

In Venice, Emilio had taken control of Venice's merchant district and was ruling it with an iron fist. Emilio provided weapons to the other templars in Florence. He apparently single-handedly funded the city guard. He lives in a large ''palazzo'' surrounded by many guards.

He is first seen at a meeting with various Templars including [[Jacopo de' Pazzi]] and [[Rodrigo Borgia]]. Emilio is next seen meeting with [[Carlo Grimaldi]], a government official who informs him that Ezio has arrived in Venice. Emilio is assassinated by [[Ezio]] shortly after Carlo leaves.

He was related to [[Marco Barbarigo]] , [[Silvio Barbarigo]] and [[Agostino Barbarigo]].

Marco Barbarigo (1413-1485) was the cousin of [[Silvio Barbarigo]], the older brother of [[Agostino Barbarigo]] and a [[Templar]]. He belongs to a rich and powerful family. A tyrant since a young age Marco was used to getting whatever he wanted.

Marco's wife, Carlotta, was previously married to his personal bodyguard and close friend [[Dante Moro]]. Marco orchestrated an attempt on Dante's life, which failed to kill him, but leads to brain damage. Now with the mind of a child Marco had Dante annul the marriage and is kept as Marco's personal slave.

== Assassins Creed 2 ==
Marco and Dante are first seen at a meeting in Venice with Silvio and [[Carlo Grimaldi]]. The meeting oddly takes place outside in broad daylight where anyone can hear and follow them(they are walking all over Venice). They are followed by Ezio throughout the entire meeting (unknownly to them). They plot to kill the current Doge so that Marco can take his place and bring more power to the Templars. Their plan works the Doge is poisoned and dies shortly afterward. A few years later Ezio returns to Venice to kill Marco where it is learned that he never leaves the palace for any such reason at all except for the carnival (which coincidently starts the same day Ezio returned to Venice). After completing the games and getting the Golden mask he is seen on a barge making a speech and is killed by Ezio. He shortly dies afterward.  

He is related to [[Emilio Barbarigo]].
