'''Erudito''' was an individual who was aware of [[Abstergo Industries]]' secret activities, and strove to make such secrets, as well as their true intentions, known.<ref name="ACPL">''[[Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy]]''</ref>

Erudito commonly made use of [[E-mails]] to spread such information, and has notably come into contact with [[Desmond Miles]], and the [[Abstergo recruits|participants]] in Abstergo's [[Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy|DDS Program]].<ref name="ACPL" /><ref name="ACB">''[[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]''</ref>

==Biography==
===DDS Program===
{{quote|...you must understand that contact with this "Erudito" user will not be tolerated.|Abstergo to one of its DDS recruits.|Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy}}
In an attempt to educate and protect the recruits participating in Abstergo's DDS Program, Erudito hacked into the DDS itself, and began communicating with its users through e-mail. He also opened up several memories that were previously unavailable to them, most of which contained valuable information on the [[Assassins]], and on [[Pieces of Eden]] such as [[the Shroud]].<ref name="ACPL" />

Several of Erudito's e-mails included dissuading the recruits from submitting their genealogies to Abstergo - which could potentially result in the recruit having their memories farmed for the DDS Program - and reminding them not to draw too much attention to themselves by acting confident.<ref name="ACPL" />

Over time, Erudito's interference was detected by Abstergo, and an email survey (with a subject line reading "INTRUDER") was sent to all DDS participants, asking them what they knew of Erudito. Any recruit who feigned ignorance received an e-mail from Erudito that simply read "<nowiki>:)</nowiki>".<ref name="ACPL" />

[[File:Eruditoindustries.jpg|thumb|The page's logo, after being hacked by Erudito.]]
Alternatively, those recruits who offered to submit a full report on Erudito received a message from Abstergo mentioning that ''"If we can track his patterns, we can begin to block his access to the DDS system and continue our work without further interruptions."'' This is followed closely by an e-mail from Erudito himself, reading ''"You reported me? That stings. Not that it really matters... I am miles ahead of these goons. I'm going to have to work harder to open your eyes, aren't I?"''<ref name="ACPL" />

On Monday, 4 July 2011, Erudito hacked into the DDS [http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=128849663818621 main page], and proceeded to change the logo into a red and inverted version of the Abstergo logo, under which read "-_-Erudito Industries-_-". He also shared [http://abstergoindustries.com/securefiles/ a link] to some [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAR RAR] files containing the information regarding the [[Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy#Divine Science|Divine Science memories]].

===Assassin Teams===
{{Quote|Make sure you stay in the loop.|Erudito's advice for Desmond.|Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood}}
On 22 September 2012, Erudito sent an e-mail to Desmond Miles through the [[Hephaestus Email Network]], in order to inform him of the e-mail passwords of the other Assassins within his team. The message included a request for him to "stay in the loop," and keep himself educated in the exchanges between [[Lucy Stillman]], [[Shaun Hastings]], and [[Rebecca Crane]].<ref name="ACB" />

===Abstergo Sweater===
On Thursday, January 13, 2011, anyone who had ordered an Abstergo staff sweater through [http://ubiworkshop.myshopify.com/ Ubiworkshop] received an email from Erudito, which explained the binary code written on the back of it.

{{email
|from        = Erudito
|to          = Abstergo recruit
|datetime    = [relative]
|subject     = Hoopsie Hoody
|message     = Like my handy work? __-_-__
So now. Take this.................
01001100
01001111
01000111
01001001
01001110

put it there -------> [http://www.abstergoindustries.com/ www.AbstergoIndustries.com]

PFRDVJ5aLLg <------- and use that

Puzzle time, People. Let’s get hackin’ __-_-__}}

By adding the binary to the end of the URL, and by using the user's unique code, they were able to access the Abstergo company email inbox. There were several sections within the inbox that could not be accessed except with a higher security level.

===Datadumpscanner===
From time to time, Erudito would also hack into the [http://twitter.com/#!/datadumpscanner datadumpscanner], a data feed on [http://twitter.com/ Twitter], so as to interact with the users. The times Erudito have interacted through this method include Friday, October 15, 2010; Friday, October 29, 2010; Friday, November 12, 2010; Friday, December 03, 2010; Monday, December 17; and Tuesday, June 21 2011.

==Trivia==
*"Erudito" is Italian for "scholar" or "learned one," which is appropriate considering how much information he has gathered on Abstergo.
*When rearranged, the letters ERUDITO spell out UDITORE (in Italian it's quite close to "auditor--- not confirmed").
*When you "like" [http://www.facebook.com/GameStop Gamestop] on Facebook, you get an item called Erudito's Network for ''Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy'', which gives you a higher probability to receive XP, Florins or chance items.
