After becoming Master of the Order, Altaïr used the knowledge from within The Apple to construct an unbreakable and light Set of Armor.

History
Unlike the robe Altaïr wore during the events of Assassin's Creed, this armor provides more protection against attacks and is dyed black/red. Due to its advanced design, it is more similar to the armor Giovanni and Ezio wear than Altaïr's original armor. The armor is seen in Assassin's Creed II.

Years later, Altaïr's Armor was stored inside a vault below the Auditore Villa, locked behind bars which only open when all six seals from hidden Assassins' tombs are collected and placed on their respective statues. As each seal is placed, a bar (to which the placed seal corresponds) retracts into the wall. When all six seals are placed, the bars that block access to the Altaïr's armor retracts into the floor, granting access to the armor. Altaïr's armor is the most powerful armor in Assassin's Creed II. Since it cannot break, it doesn't need to be repaired, which saves the user a great deal of florins. Unfortunately, the outside of the armor cannot be dyed visibly when worn; only the inside of the hood is affected by dyeing Ezio's clothes with the aid of Tailors. In Altaïr's Codex Pages, he claims to have created a new metal which is incredibly strong whilst being light as a feather. In a contrast to other Asassin's robes, Altaïr's Armor is black, while Ezio and Altaïr originally wore white. The black color scheme can be attributed to the rank of Grandmaster of the Syrian Assassin's Sect, which Altaïr obtained after defeating Al Mualim. Once you've obtained it, it can be taken on and off in the Auditore Family Villa in the armor room. Altair's armor must be worn all at once, you can't mix it with other armor sets/types.

Trivia
*According to a piece of concept art, it seems that the armor was intended to be an invention by Leonardo da Vinci before being a creation of Altaïr.
*Also, while wearing the armor, the burn mark Ezio obtained during Memory Sequence Eleven does not appear at all. This may be a Creator's mistake, or a side effect. Also the hood is never down, although in a cut-scenes with the hood - it's usually down.
*The collectible Ezio that comes with the black and master edition of Assassins Creed II wears the master robes, which are quite similar to Altair's Armor. However the 'Master Assassin' Robes are not the same as Altair's Armor and you do not receive it at all throughout the game. This could be a Creation Mistake or they just simply had something else in mind. Another possibility is that it is a mix of Altaïr's armour and Missaglias Armour, as the long black robes of Altaïr's armour are worn on the figure in conjunction with the Missaglias Armour worn over the top

*it is also the best armor in the game.

Doctor Warren Vidic is a scientist (the exact position is not clear) of Abstergo Industries. He is the head of research for genetic memory and the Animus project. He also plays the role of the main antagonist in the series (Modern Times).

Assassin's Creed
He is shown to be somewhat of a ruthless, but clumsy man. This could be observed throughout the game if Desmond pickpockets the Doctor, being demonstrated through numerous emails in which he is constantly asking for passwords that he has forgotten, or he is thanking Lucy for returning his key pen to him. The fact that it is stolen from him could simply be him being the unaware klutz that he is shown as. It is possible again, that with all the cameras, that Vidic is in fact letting him out.

He did not admonish Desmond even after his cryptic reply to Desmond's questions: "I think you know enough already." Desmond demands an explanation and Vidic offers "You know what I mean." This leads to the insinuation that he knows Desmond is viewing his emails, but does not retaliate harshly because he believes Desmond has the right to know what is going on, at least to some extent. It may also just be him presuming Desmond knows more than he actually does. Initially, he attempts to push Desmond beyond his limits by keeping him in the Animus, only to be accosted by Lucy. Relenting slightly after Lucy's initial concerns, he is further pacified after Desmond agrees to not resist their work. He remains pushy throughout the game, chastising Desmond for wasting time at the Animus memory selection screen for delays or by walking around the room in the middle of a memory segment.

Emails accessible after the completion of a memory segment further show him to be impatient, perhaps to the point of being sloppy. His emails are written without capitalization, and he doesn't bother signing his emails. He wonders aloud to Lucy why she bothers signing hers, since it indicates the sender quite clearly in the header. On at least one occasion he loses his access badge, which Lucy finds and returns for him. He is dismissive of her calls for him to be more careful with it, replying that she should be more focused on the Animus and their work with Desmond.

Dr. Vidic, however, can be seen with a red aura once Desmond attains Eagle Vision at the end of the game. Despite his possibly honorable intentions, the red aura is similar to that of the ones that soldiers have when one uses Eagle Vision as Altaïr within the Animus. If you attain the access code to the locked room in the lab that is adjacent to the animus, you can discover that Alan Rikkin has sent Vidic emails regarding past experiments and ventures that Abstergo was apart of. In the email, Vidic is praised for his continued search of the Piece of Eden and it is alluded to that Vidic's work is extraordinarily important and that it will ultimately be instrumental in facilitating Abstergo's ability to control the planet. These revelations at the end of the game brings into question Vidic's motivation and allegiances to the assassins.

Assassin's Creed II
Spoiler
Vidic is not seen until the end of the story, furious about Desmond and Lucy escaping Abstergo, reminding Lucy that he saved her life once, he then brings out some Abstergo guards, quickly dispatched by the recently skill-honed Desmond and Lucy. Vidic is forced to leave the hideout, swearing that this is not the last they've seen of him, as he rides out in a truck. During the credits, Lucy however does tell that one day, she and Desmond will end the schemes of Vidic soon. Also, she mentions that there is still more work for him and Desmond to do, yet at the end of the first game the bosses of Abstergo tell him to kill Desmond. Does this mean that Abstergo found another use for Desmond? This could also explain the fact that Shaun states that Abstergo was mad that Desmond escaped and that Vidic came to the hideout to take Desmond.
