Rodrigo flees immediately as the Assassin is fighting with his men. Hidden behind a corner, he sees the Assassin capturing one of his men. The prisoner reveals to Rodrigo's enemies the assassination of [[wikipedia:Galeazzo Maria Sforza|Galeazzo Maria Sforza]], Duke of Milan and a powerful ally of Lorenzo. However, the Assassin arrives too late. Rodrigo and his accomplices' plan has succeed. He is planning the next move.

We can see Rodrigo on the execution platform of Florence, attending to the judgement of [[Giovanni Auditore]] and his sons. He is later seen during a meeting for the [[wikipedia:Pazzi#The conspiracy|plot of the Pazzis]] and the [[Templars]] in a catacomb under the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella.

Borgia is later found in [[Venice]], discussing with [[Carlo Grimaldi]] and the Barbarigos about killing the current Doge so that one of them can replace the Doge and take control of Venice. He appears later on to claim the [[Piece of Eden]] the Templars found in Cyprus. [[Ezio]], disguised as the carrier of the artifact, attempts to kill Borgia, but he had planned this out, knowing that Ezio would do this. The two then begin a battle against each other, with Ezio being the victor. However, Borgia calls in his guards and is ready for battle once again, when suddenly, all of Ezio's allies throughout the story appear and help him defeat Borgia, who then escapes from them before Ezio can kill him.

In the Final Memory Block, Ezio travels to [[Rome]] to assassinate Borgia, who has now become the Pope. Ezio sneaks into the Vatican and seemingly assassinates Borgia without being seen, after Ezio finishes speaking with Borgia he leaves only to have him rise from the ground and uses his Piece of Eden, the Papal Cross to strike down Ezio and everyone else in the room. However, he is surprised to see that Ezio has not given up his will to stop him, instead he brings out his own Piece of Eden, The Apple, Ezio then summons 4 clones of himself to assist him in his battle against Borgio, eventually defeating him. Borgio snatches The Apple from Ezio's hands, and combines it with The Staff to open up the door to The Vault, which had been underneath Rome the whole time. Ezio tries to stop but he is lifted into the air by Borgio and stabbed with a sword, lying on the ground as Borgio escapes into the Vault. Ezio eventually finds the Vault, with Borgia furiously pounding the door to the inner chambers, Ezio drops down into the pit where he is, and challenges him to a battle with no weapons, Borgia accepts and the two have one last Battle. During the battle, Borgia states that he never believed in The Bible or in God, and only became Pope to get the Staff and access to the Vault, wanting to unify Italy under the Templar rule. Ezio defeats Borgia but refrains from killing him, saying that killing him will not bring back his family, leaving him alone in the Vault.

Vieri De Pazzi is part of the Pazzi family and secretly a [[Templar]].

Vieri is seen at the beginning of Assassins Creed 2 and he fights [[Ezio]] who was gathering people to fight his family for slandering the Auditore name. He is later seen at the Auditore family villa trying to kill him and what remains of his family. But Mario Auditore saves Ezio and beats Vieri's men. He is the second assassination target and killed at San Gimignano by Ezio.

Francesco de' Pazzi is the father of [[Vieri de' Pazzi]] and one of the Pazzi conspirators.He is the third assassination target of [[Ezio]].He is also secretly a [[Templar]]

He is first seen discussing with [[Rodrigo Borgia]] (the leader of the [[Templars]]),along with his son and his father [[Jacapo de' Pazzi]], in [[San Gimignano]].He is later seen in a chamber,underneath a cathedral in Florence,discussing with other Templars for the assassination of [[Lorenzo de' Medici]].He is seen as being very confident that their mission will be a success, but Jacapo warns him that confidence led to the death of his son (killed by Ezio).During during a High Mass at the Duomo,He violently stabs Lorenzo's brother,Giuliano,to death.He then tries to kill Lorenzo, but Ezio fights him off (forcing him to flee).He and Jacapo's soldiers attack florence.Ezio kills him while attempting to flee, and his naked body is hung over the Palazzo della Signoria by angry florentines while Jacapo agitates the citizens (Causing him to flee).

Jacopo is first seen in Tuscany with Francesco, Vieri and Rodriga Borgia. He is next seen at a meeting in the Assassin's Tomb in Florence. He and Francesco are talking to four Templar hitmen Jacopo hired to kill Lorenzo de Medici. Jacopo is seen after Francesco's death, and sees Francesco's body hanging from a building in Florence. He flees the city to escape. Ezio kills his four hitmen then pursues Jacopo. He tracks him to a meeting with the other conspirators. Here, Jacopo is lectured severely and then stabbed by Rodrigo Borgia. When Jacopo asks for mercy, Borgia stabs a sword through his neck. Jacopo is barely alive, and Ezio ends his suffering.

But Marco was jealous of Dante's wife Carlotta, and hired a hitman to stab Dante in the head. Dante survived with severe brain damage and the mind of a child.

He is first seen in Venice with Marco, [[Silvio Barbarigo]] and [[Carlo Grimaldi]] plotting to kill the Doge. He is next seen in the carnival with Silvio, where he fights Ezio in hand tom hand to win a golden mask. He and Silvio cheat to win the mask and prevent Ezio from entering Marco's private party and killing him. Ezio then steals the golden mask from him and attends the party. Dante shows up and tries to look for Ezio, but fails, resulting in Marco's death. Dante goes with Silvio and escapes to a different part of [[Venice]]. Ezio finds them and kills them both when they are heading for a ship. Ezio asks them where they were going, and Silvio says he will not tell. Dante, however, says they are going to Cyprus, and is about to tell Ezio what for, but dies.

Silvio is first seen at a meeting in Venice with Marco, [[Dante Moro]] and [[Carlo Grimaldi]]. They plot to kill the Doge of Venice, and Silvio says he can get cantanella to poison the Doge, as it is very hard to trace. He is next seen in Venice at the Carnival, where he cheats in order to stop Ezio from attending Marco's party and killing him. Silvio is next seen at his death, where he and Dante are running away from Ezio, and are both killed before boarding their ship.

Emilio Barbarigo was a tyrant of Venice and was secretly a Templar. He was the first assassination target in [[Venice]].

In Venice Emilio had taken control of and was holding it with an iron fist. He apparently single-handedly funded the city guard. He lived in a large castle surrounded by many guards.

He is first seen at a meeting with various Templars including Jacopo de Pazzi and Rodriga Borgia. Emilio is next seen meeting with [[Carlo Grimaldi]], a government official who informs him that Ezio has arrived in Venice. Emilio is assassinated by Ezio shortly after Carlo leaves.

He was related to [[Marco Barbarigo]] and [[Silvio Barbarigo]].

[[File:Carlogrimaldi.png|thumb|Carlo in Venice.]]Carlo Grimaldi was a Templar and a government official. He was close to Doge Monicego of Venice and plotted to kill him. He was also a member of the Council Of Ten.

Carlo craved for political power, and knew the Doge of Venice. He used this to his advantage, and had heard that the Doge's daughter wanted to be with a slave but her father would not allow it. Carlo told them to escape on a boat that very night. When they arrived at the boat, they found Carlo waiting for them with a few guards and the Doge himself. The slave was killed and the Doge trusted Carlo enough to allow him into the Council Of Ten.

Carlo is first seen meeting with [[Emilio Barbarigo]] and informing him of Ezio's arrival in Venice. He leaves just before Emilio is assassinated. He is next seen in Venice meeting with [[Marco Barbarigo]], [[Dante Moro]] and [[Silvio Barbarigo]]. They plot to poison the Doge.

Carlo is encountered in the Doge's palace, where he is playing chess with the Doge. Ezio turns up only to realise that the Doge has been poisoned. Carlo blames Ezio for his death then runs out of the building. Ezio pursues him and assassinates him in the courtyard.

Ezio meets Uberto for the first time in Giovanni's office conversing about something urgent, though Ezio is dismissed by his father before he can understand what they were talking about. Soon, Giovanni sends Ezio with a letter containing evidence that he must give to Uberto. Ezio does as his father asks, swiftly making it to Uberto's house (Which Rodrigo is currently at). Uberto immediately knows whats in the envelope and asks Ezio if he would like to stay at his house, though Ezio declines. Soon after receiving the letter, Uberto accuses [[Giovanni Auditore da Firenze|Giovanni]], [[Federico Auditore da Firenze|Federico]], [[Petruccio Auditore da Firenze|Petruccio]] and [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]] (though he escapes because of his errands) of treason. At the day of the execution, Giovanni reminds Uberto of evidence given to him by Ezio that proves his family innocent, but much to his suprise, Uberto confesses that he never received a letter, sentencing the three to death. With the sight of their deaths, Ezio promised he would kill Uberto for what he had done, but Brute Guards disarm Ezio before he could get close enough. Several days after the execution Paola, leader of the courtesans, tracked Uberto down for Ezio, giving him a chance of vengeance. As Ezio dispatched the guards defending him, he brutally murdered Uberto with his hidden blade, avenging his father and brothers.

*Uberto saved the Templars from many close calls by destroying evidence of their conspiracy and hindering their enemy's progress
*It should be noted that Ezio assassinates Alberti in a rather "sloppy" manner when you consider that he does so by stabbing the man with the hidden blade at least several times on the chest, rather than plunging the blade into his target's throat, which is the traditional assassination technique used by other assassins, including his ancestor Altair. Of course, this could be easily explained and understandable to most, since it is Ezio's first time tracking down an assassination target, and he has not been trained extensively by that point.
