I kinda liked how they put historical events into Arno's story and that Arno was not the main guy of very possible mayor event of french revolution. They did that with Connor and American revolution and it was just too much Forrest Gump for me.<br /> <br /> About history in Rogue. There really wasn't a lot of historical events in Rogue. There was Albany Congress, ambush of Colonel Monro and his man, and partially Siege of Louisbourg. But I don't think that this was too bad. It focused more on story and Assassin-Templar war. And I think that it never was like &quot;lets make a game during french and indian war&quot; it was more like &quot;lets make a game that is set between Black Flag and AC3 and has links to both and ends the trilogy&quot;. French and Indian war is the most obvious choice.</div>

The diffrence is that GTA protagonist are classical bad,evil,...,sociopathic gangstars where in AC games protagonist and his &quot;faction&quot; are not portreyed black and white, the romantic version of the bad guy, the bad guy with some principles and even some heroic characteristics, but at the end still the bad guy. Templars are not good guys for me either,though in some games they have more &quot;good guy&quot; characteristics than Assassins but in other they are portreyed like devil himself (AC2, AC B). However they both possess some noble qualities.That just my opinion.</div>
