Altaïr followed the lead obtained from eavesdropping on the villagers near the market, and found the basket weaver. Observing the weaver's conversation with a woman, Altaïr saw that the weaver tried to deny receiving a letter recently, and felt uncomfortable talking about the subject.<br />

Altaïr shadowed the weaver and pickpocketed the letter in question from him. It revealed the location of the traitor, Masun, who was preaching near the Cypress tree in the village.<br />
