So what's up with Unity System req? I've just played it on my Core 2 Duo E8500 3,16 Ghz, 7750 GPU and 4GB RAM and it worked. Sure I had to set everything on low and I got low frame rates but still it was playable (hardly but still). I'm asking this because minimum and recomended req where very high. And I heard a lot about serious problems (faces dissapearing, character floating under the map and stuff like that) so I am surprised that my rig was even able to run it.

I'm getting a new rig in few weeks anyway (my current is more that 5 years old, except GPU ) with probably GTX 980 (maybe 970 SLI), 4790k, 16GB RAM, ROG SWIFT,... so I wanted to ask how Unity works on more high end rig? From what I heard it runs bad even on those rigs.

(btw I'm not buying new rig for Unity in case I gave that impression)

About 18th century. I think it's great time period. It was Ubisoft who messed it, not 18th century. And as I said many times before I think that next AC game will be set during Napoleonic period. And I wouldn't be surprised if another game is set in similar setting before something completely new.
