'''Bartolomeo's Axe''' was an unlockable heavy weapon in [[Rome]] during the 16th century, attributed to [[File:Bartolomeo's_Axe.jpg|thumb|Bartolomeo's Axe ]][[Bartolomeo d'Alviano]]. It was one of the weakest [[heavy weapons]] in the game, and like all other heavy and two-handed weapons, it required the [[Heavy Sheath]] in order to be equipped.

Bartolomeo's Axe was given to those who have completed all the [[Mercenaries|Mercenary]] [[Guild Challenges#Mercenaries Guild|Guild Challenges]], and could be found in [[Ezio]]'s Hideout on [[Tiber Island]] after doing so. It looks similar (if not identical) to the [[Heavy weapons|Labrys]] wielded by [[Brutes]] in during the 15th century.
