Fiora Cavazza, also known as the '''Courtesan''', is a multiplayer character in ''[[Assassin's Creed Brotherhood|Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]''. She uses a [[Fan|bladed fan]] as her primary weapon. Her abilities include [[Smoke Bombs]], the Power Charge, the [[Multiplayer Abilities#Morph|Morph]] and the [[Pistol|Hidden Gun]]. She differs from the [[Courtesans|courtesans]] seen in ''Assassin's Creed II'', most notably by her different outfit and hairstyle.

She is the subject of a chapter in ''[[Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy]]'', where much of her back story is revealed. She began as a simple courtesan in the ''Rosa in Fiore'' brothel until a twist of fate led her into the employ of [[Cesare Borgia]].

She served him for over six years, and played an integral role in coordinating Cesare's allies in [[Rome]]. During her assignments, she came in contact with all of the other multiplayer personas, and interacted with them in different ways. Additionally, in ''[[Assassin's Creed: Ascendance]]'', it is revealed that she killed Cesare's older brother, [[Juan Borgia the Younger|Juan Borgia]] for him.

Eventually Fiora grew sick of her employer, especially after a visit from [[Doctor (multiplayer character)|Malfatto]] in which he attemped to kill her (although he did not injest her with poison). She decided to seek aid from the Brotherhood of [[Assassins]], and was surprised to find the budding painter, [[Francesco Vecellio]], one of them. Together, they managed to assassinate [[Mercenary (multiplayer character)|Rocco Tiepolo]], [[Harlequin|Cahin]], [[Hellequin|Caha]], [[Barber|Baltasar de Silva]], and his twisted creation, [[Prowler|Il Lupo]].

==Unique Moves==
===Flip a Coin, Flip a Courtesan===
The Courtesan runs to her unaware target and flips over their back, clipping him/her with her fan. The confused victim then staggers back and forth, until the Courtesan promptly slices the target's neck with her weapon.

===Look up!===
The courtesan walks up to a sitting target and puts her finger on their chin. Tilting the chin upward, she quickly slits their throat.

The '''Doctor''' (real name: '''Malfatto''') is a multiplayer character in ''[[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]'', who uses a [[syringe]] as his primary weapon.

His outfit highly resembles the ones worn by doctors during the plague, and appears black in the dark. His face is concealed by a mask, therefore making his true identity unknown. His outfit is different from what the doctors wear in ''[[Assassin's Creed II]]'', most noticeably due to the shorter beak of his mask.

[[Ubisoft]] has said that he will make an appearance in the single player mode of [[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood|''Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood'']] along with the other multiplayer characters.

He appeared in [[Project Legacy]] where it is revealed he is in the employ of Cesare Borgia and is known as a serial killer that targets courtesans. [[Fiora Cavazza]] called him a "monster". He drugged her (or poisoned her and tried to kill her) even after she gave him Cesare's document. However, she was able to defend herself, cutting him badly. Whether his attack was ordered by Cesare in the letter, or by Malfatto's own will is unknown.

[[Ezio Auditore|Ezio ]] came across a [[Courtesan|courtesan]], crying over a fellow courtesan's dead body. She told him Malfatto murdered her, and he was shortly thereafter assassinated by a member of the Brotherhood of Assassins under Ezio's orders.

===Lethal Injection===
The Doctor charges at his target from behind and swiftly thrusts his [[syringe]] into the target's shoulder, injecting [[poison]] into their system. Before the victim can realize what has happened, they collapse to the ground and die silently. The Doctor can also perform a similar move from the front of the victim, where he thrusts the syringe into the victim's neck.

===The Eye Stab===
The Doctor charges and jumps onto his target, injecting the syringe into their eye and causing death.

==Trivia==
*Malfatto is most likely based off of Jack the Ripper, a well known serial killer that preyed on prostitutes in impoverished areas of London around the year 1888. The removal of internal organs from his victims led many to believe that Jack was a doctor or possessed surgical knowledge.
*Malfatto is an Italian surname that may derive from the Italian word ''malfattore'' or "someone who does evil deeds."
*Oddly enough the only trace of Malfatto in history are reports of a masked doctor sighted near the Rosa in Fiore brothel.
